VetOne biodegradable nitrile exam gloves are made of a polymerized “food source” used to accelerate the biodegradation rate of gloves in biologically active landfills and anaerobic digesters. This material can be consumed by bacteria and microbes, which then excrete enzymes to further breakdown the material. Exam gloves are a first line of defense against bacteria, viruses, and parasites while maintaining tactile sensitivity and comfort. Gloves used for protection against chemotherapy drug exposure should be selected specifically for the type of drugs used. Users should review drug labeling or safety data sheets for the drugs being used to determine an adequate level of protection for the intended use.
